FCD is sponsoring a beer/water/soda booth at SF Pride this year. Will be staffing the same booth as last year (B4) on Larkin at Golden Gate on Sunday, June 24th, 2012 where we will be selling beverages from 11am to 6pm. You will earn money for your club each you work. We can expect to earn nearly $2000 for local square dance clubs, but we can’t do it without your help!

To sign up for a 2-hour shift, please visit VolunteerSpot.com. You will be asked for your email address, and then you will be able to select the 2-hour shifts you would like to work.

Last year proved to an exhausting but exhilarating day! FCD will provide light snacks to keep your blood sugar up and plenty of water to keep you hydrated throughout the day.

Remember: ALL the money raised will returned to your club based on the number of hours worked.

Join us as we celebrate Pride month with our “Pride Prom!” Mike DeSisto will be calling an awesome mix of Plus, A2 and C1*.

Where: Forest Hill Christian Church, 250 Laguna Honda Blvd, San Francisco
PLENTY OF FREE PARKING or just 2 blocks from Forest Hill Muni Station

When: 7:30pm – 10:30pm Sat 18 Jun 2011
What: Plus, A2 & C1*
Caller: Mike DeSisto (Kitsap County, WA)

Yes, we’re going to be having our booth at SF Pride this year – this year with a twist: we have secured two adjacent booth spaces in order to have a covered information booth as well as a dance space!

We are going to have demonstration tips on both days at 1pm and 3pm, as well as intro tips at 1:30 and 3:30 (depending on interest). So, if you are volunteering for a shift in the booth, thanks! But we also need extra dancers to show up in your Think Square t-shirts or other clubwear to demonstrate how fun Square Dancing can be!

You can volunteer here.
